SUMMARY:Film Screening NAZA
LOCATION:Nestkino\, Schulterblatt 73\n20357 Hamburg-Altona
DESCRIPTION:Directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor\n\nOver the course of
three years\, Abraham and Szor spoke with members of the Israeli military
and intelligence services. Twenty-four Israeli intelligence officers and
soldiers speak anonymously in the film\; their voices and appearances have
been digitally altered. Their statements form the basis for an examinatio
 n of the military structures\, decision-making processes\, and technologie
s behind Israel’s conduct of the war in Gaza. Following the Oscar success
of *NO OTHER LAND*\, Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor return with a new\, hig
hly topical documentary: *NAZA* celebrated its world premiere on September
10 in the competition section of the 83rd Venice International Film Festi
val\, where it was met with a 25-minute standing ovation.\n
