DUAL USE – between useful and harmful. Between civilian and military.

The exhibition explores key social issues in a rapidly changing present that is constantly redefining what freedom and security, control and surveillance, militarization and peace mean.

The DUAL USE exhibition originated from the student research group “Critical Agile Methodology” at the University of Hamburg’s Hub for Crossdisciplinary Learning.

The research project examines the role of the critical humanities in analyzing and shaping sociopolitical processes that are increasingly shaped by technology.
